Herpes Can Appear Anywhere On The Body

S.Valentino: la storia

There are very few days in St. Valentino, and just today I was wondering: but who am Valentine? And what have you done to be associated with Valentine's Day?

Christian tradition that binds this holy love in the world has more than 1700 years. The first Valentine's Day that proclaimed patron saint of lovers and fix the date they were Anglicans and Protestants.

There are many stories and legends about St. Valentine. The official version says that Valentine was born in Terni at the end of the second century. AD, where he became bishop. At that time, Emperor Claudius II ruled that the persecuted Christians, imprisoned them and dragged them to court where they were sentenced to the harshest penalties. His empire was in need of soldiers to fight against the barbarians who ravaged the borders and therefore believed that no man should marry because married men were reluctant to leave their families for war. So when he learned that there was a Christian bishop who called on the contrary, in his hermitage lovers to reconcile them or to celebrate the wedding, it considered it a danger and called to question and to persuade him to abandon his mission and to convert it to paganism. On February 14, 270 Valentine was stoned and beheaded, but this earned him the sanctification of martyrdom.
Some say, however, has become patron of love because it was the first to say that love knows no limits and you can push the barrier, marrying for the first time a legionary pay with a young Christian.
Or that while awaiting his execution fell in love with the blind daughter, in her early twenties, his guard enough to miraculously restore sight and left her with a moving message of farewell: the first "valentine" of history!
